Kistler®aerogel KSL8 is made with special process and is composed of silica aerogel, glass fiber, ceramic fiber, mullite fiber, and other inorganic fibers. This product has the dual advantages of low thermal conductivity and high temperature resistance.

The product does not contain any asbestos, benzene, formaldehyde, or other harmful substances, and can be reused after equipment maintenance and disassembly. Application field
KSL8 is mainly applicable in providing thermal insulation and energy conversation for medium and high temperature pipelines and equipment, including but not limited to the following applications: steam and heat transfer oil pipelines and equipment in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, and other industries, steam turbines, high and medium pressure pipelines, heat transmission pipelines in the thermal power industry, steam pipelines and smoke exhaust pipes on large ships, and the thermal insulation fireproofing layers in bullet trains, automobiles, and other vehicles.
